An "Azerbaijan Airlines" plane crashed today in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergencies of the country said.
According to foreign media, dozens of people are suspected to have died from this incident, as it is known that there were 72 people on board the plane.
Six people are reported to have survived the crash, authorities said, writes A2 CNN.
The Azerbaijan Airlines flight was on its way from Baku in Azerbaijan to Grozny in Russia, but changed direction due to fog. It crashed near the Aktau airport in the west of the country.
Emergency services were working to put out the fire at the crash site, Kazakhstan's Emergencies Ministry said.
