President Donald Trump said earlier that he was "disappointed" with Vladimir Putin over Russia's continued attacks on Ukraine, while talks to secure peace are ongoing.
According to foreign media, among Moscow's deadliest attacks hit Kiev last week, where authorities say the death toll has now risen from 12 to 13 after a 45-year-old man recently died in hospital.
The ballistic missile attack, which also injured about 90 other people, was the deadliest launched by Russians in the Ukrainian capital since July 2024, writes A2 CNN.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of those killed in the attack with a ceremony in Kiev. He insisted that Russia's continued attacks prove it is not interested in long-term peace. (A2 Televizion)
