Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent held a press conference today, following the first 100 days of Donald Trump's return to the Presidency.
According to foreign media, Bessent spoke about businesses returning to the US, saying that business leaders have "entered a pause" and explaining that Donald Trump's administration is seeking to give them "greater certainty" through a bill.
"I think there is a high chance that we will pass this tax bill and that this bill will be very powerful for domestic investment in the US," he said, A2 CN writes.
Bessent also calls on business leaders to "re-engineer their factory," meaning businesses should be equipped with manufacturing equipment.
"You can invest in the equipment and the building and we will help you," he adds, writes A2 CNN.
"This will continue to make the U.S. the largest destination for domestic and foreign investment," the Treasury Secretary concluded. (A2 Televizion)
