A woman has died in a skydiving incident in County Durham, United Kingdom.
According to foreign media, emergency crews were called to Wreford Farm at Shotton Colliery, near Peterlee, at around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The woman, in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, A2 CNN reports.
A Durham Police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious and that a file would now be prepared for the coroner.
A spokesman for the North East Ambulance Service said it was called to the incident at 10.17am on Sunday.
"We sent an ambulance team and a specialist paramedic to the incident," the spokesman added, writes A2 CNN.
The former mining village of Shotton Colliery has a population of nearly 5,000, according to the latest census.
Wreford Farm is described on its website as a "small family farm" that produces pork and beef using "regenerative agriculture." (A2 Televizion)
