The US has issued new sanctions on various individuals and businesses for ties to Russia, according to the Treasury.
According to foreign media, multiple individuals, a China-based entity, and a bank in Kyrgyzstan have all been named in the latest wave of sanctions, which come in the final days of Joe Biden's presidency.
Analysts have noted that the outgoing Biden has pushed through a series of new bills and sanctions against the Russian regime.
A wave of sanctions hit Russian oil tankers and producers just last week, writes A2 CNN.
