President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly said he wants the US to invade Greenland, just spoke to reporters at the White House about the issue.
According to foreign media, it is learned that Trump was asked about JD Vance's trip to the Arctic territory.
Trump says Greenland is "very important for world peace," writes A2 CNN. And he then follows up on this conversation by saying:
"I think the European Union understands that and if they don't understand it, we're going to have to explain it," Trump said.
"We have to have Greenland. It's not a question of 'do you think we can do without it?' We can't," President Trump said.
