Iranian missiles struck Israel again in the early hours of Monday, damaging the US Embassy, amid calls for Tehran's allies to form an Islamic Army to wage terror against Tel Aviv.
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee revealed that the embassy suffered minor damage during the attack, issuing a warning to the 700,000 Americans in Israel to remain on alert, while the embassy remains closed and shelter-in-place orders remain in effect.
Previously, Donald Trump had warned that Iran would experience the "full power" of the US military if it attacked the US during the conflict with Israel, despite reports that he had vetoed Israeli plans to assassinate Iran's Supreme Leader.
The US president warned Tehran that if " we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full force and power of the US Armed Forces will fall upon you at levels never seen before ."
Iran showed no signs of backing down, signaling its intention to involve allies in the fight against the Jewish state by forming an "Islamic Army" with several other countries in the Middle East.
Senior Iranian official Mohsen Rezaee told Iranian state media that the regime wants to join forces with " Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and several other countries " to create an " Islamic army " during its ongoing conflict against Israel.
Meanwhile, at least three Israelis were killed and dozens more injured when a barrage of Iranian missiles penetrated beyond Israel's multi-layered defense systems, hitting both Tel Aviv and the port city of Haifa.
The retaliatory strikes destroyed homes and residential buildings, with flames erupting at a power plant near the port hours after Israel killed three other senior security figures and destroyed Iran's main nuclear facility at Natanz. (A2 Televizion)
