Trump: Patriot missiles have been sent from Germany to Ukraine

Patriot missiles for Ukraine have already been sent from Germany. This was announced by US President Donald Trump, Bloomberg reports.

The US president said he had not spoken to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin since he announced secondary tariffs on Moscow if there was no deal on the war within 50 days.

Meanwhile, explosions and injuries were reported in several Ukrainian cities overnight, while military authorities in Kiev issued several warnings that waves of Russian drones are targeting the capital and other regions of the country, writes A2 CNN.

The Ukrainian Air Force also warned of a ballistic missile threat. The northeastern city of Kharkiv in particular came under intense enemy fire, with at least 17 explosions, injuring at least three people, according to local authorities.

The city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region was also targeted by a massive drone attack. Russian news agency Tass also reported an airstrike alert in the Ukrainian regions of Vinnitsa and Rovno, A2 CNN reports.

A day earlier, President Donald Trump urged President Volodymyr Zelenskyy not to target Moscow with attacks, as he announced that more weapons would be sent to Ukraine and toughened his stance on Russia. (A2 Televizion)
