The US president said Tuesday during a visit to the newly built Alligator Alcatraz migrant camp in the Everglades that former President Joe Biden is a "son of a whore" and he wanted Trump in prison.
"Biden wanted me to come in here, okay?" President Trump told reporters inside a large white tent surrounded by a chain-link fence in the style of a dog cage for prisoners, foreign media write.
"It didn't work out that way, but he wanted me here, that son of a bitch," Trump shouted along with Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Trump, 79, faced four criminal charges while campaigning against Biden last year for a second non-consecutive term, writes A2 CNN.
He would face a de facto life sentence if convicted of the more serious charges related to the alleged misuse of national security documents and the attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
The Republican is the first former president to face criminal charges and has consistently claimed that the four cases were the result of Biden's "weaponization" of the Justice Department.
Recall that Biden has insisted that he had no role in four criminal cases against Trump, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
