The Israeli army gives the details: When is the Israel-Hamas truce expected to come into effect?

The truce between Israel and Hamas is expected to start at 09:00 on Thursday. An Israeli official announced the news to CNN.

There is an option for the pause to last for 10 days, but Israeli officials do not believe this is a likely scenario.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, when announcing the agreement, that for every 10 additional hostages added, one day of pause in fighting would be added.

It should be noted that Israel and Hamas agreed to an agreement for the release of 50 hostages held in Gaza during a 4-day pause in the fighting. Israeli officials said the 50 hostages to be released will all be women and children.
