A small fire has suspended all flights at Italy's Ciampino airport.
According to reports, the fire broke out in a technical room at the base of the airport's control tower and operations room employees were asked to evacuate until the smoke cleared.
For this reason, take-offs and landings have been temporarily suspended until further notice from the responsible authorities.
It is reported that no damage has been recorded to the equipment used to operate the control tower, while the competent authorities are investigating the causes of the fire. (A2 Televizion)
