Kosovo is known as a country with a long heritage and history of interreligious and interethnic coexistence, and this model should be spread throughout the world. This was stated at the interreligious dialogue conference held this Friday in Pristina.
The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has said that in the history of the Albanian people there have never been conflicts that have a religious basis, adding that this is an Albanian model that is not found in any other country.
The Vatican's Apostolic Delegate, Jean Marie Speich, said that we must work for dialogue, peace and move forward. The conclusion of this conference was that dialogue is the only way to resolve all issues, not only religious but also ethnic, and that Albanians in the Balkans are the spirit of this model.
