After lining up the KSF squads at the "Adem Jashari" barracks in Pristina, to mark the 27th anniversary of the founding of the Kosovo Liberation Army, President Vjosa Osmani declared that the month of March in Kosovo is a permanent reminder of the heroism and determination of the people for freedom.
President Vjosa Osmani noted "that the epic of the KLA is an eternal testament to the endurance, sacrifice and invincibility of our people," writes A2.
For his part, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that one of the key tasks for preserving the freedom won with the blood of the people's martyrs has been and continues to be the strengthening of the Kosovo army.
Speaking about the sacrifice made to build the Kosovo army, Kurti said that since 1989 when Adem Jashari and his friends began talking and working for a Kosovo army and until today, "we have never had a stronger, better armed, better equipped and better trained army than today."
The sacrifice of Adem Jashari and that the Jashari family remains the foundation upon which Kosovo's freedom was built and a living monument of unparalleled sacrifice and heroism, was appreciated at this ceremony. (A2 Televizion)
