The Minister of Defense, Ejup Macedonci, has said that the Kosovo Security Force has received weapons purchased from the United States of America during the last three months.
Security experts estimate for A2 CNN that Washington never hesitates to cooperate with official Pristina for the purchase of armaments. The vice-chairman of the Security Commission, Enver Dugolli, confirms that the increase in the budget for 2025, with more than 200 million euros, contributes to the increase of the KSF's armament capacity.
Regarding the equipment of the Kosovo army with American Javelin missiles with completely destructive capabilities for armored vehicles and tanks, he emphasizes that these missiles will soon be in the hands of the Kosovo army.
Regarding the ability and quality of the weapons recently purchased for the army, security expert Nuredin Ibishi tells A2CNN that "there is a change in war strategies and weaponry".
