Serbia has once again returned to the Ibër-Lepenc terrorist attacks. This time Belgrade has officially blamed Pristina for causing this incident. Although without providing any concrete evidence, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric said that security services have clear evidence regarding the sabotage on the Ibër-Lepenc canal, which indicates that Kosovo police were involved in this incident.
"Now I expect a reaction from international actors who should translate this into legal consequences. I am horrified by the new arrests of Serbs in Kosovo on Easter. Today we see calls for the lifting of measures against Pristina, we see support for Kurti's regime, while the majority in Europe still condemns Kurti," said Marko Djuric, the Foreign Minister of Serbia, writes A2 CNN.
The senior Serbian official also mentioned Kosovo's intensive diplomatic campaign for recognition. According to Djuric, such intense activity seems worrying.
"In Pristina there is a competition between the government and the opposition as to who will bring more recognition. We have successes there too, 28 states have withdrawn recognition, and only three were new, but these two new ones show that Pristina is working intensively on this and we will do everything to make this process impossible," said Djuric.
Djuric also commented on relations with Russia and the presence of high-ranking authorities at the May 9th parade on Red Square in Moscow. (A2 Televizion)
