In a solemn event held today in the Hungarian capital, a special section of the "Ervin Szabó" public library was inaugurated under the name of former President Ibrahim Rugova.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, participated in this ceremony, where she joined old friends of former President Rugova and new supporters of Kosovo in Hungary.
In her speech, she emphasized that the figure of Rugova belongs not only to the citizens of Kosovo, but to all those who believe in the power of law and the ideal of freedom, writes A2 CNN.
"The legacy of the Founding Father of the Republic, the historic President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, does not belong only to Kosovo, but to all those who believe in the power of law and the ideal of freedom. This is a permanent reminder of the vision of the architect of independence, who with dedication led the people of Kosovo on the path to freedom and independence," said Osmani. (A2 Televizion)
