On the eve of the holidays, Kosovo is facing interruptions in electricity supply, with citizens and businesses having numerous complaints.
The Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli requested from the public company KOSTT and KEDS maximum commitment for regular supply of electricity and addressing problems in the energy network.
But according to the head of the Transmission System and Market Operator, KOSTT, the power outages are occurring due to network congestion as a result of increased consumption and not due to a lack of energy.
In a statement after the meeting with Rizvanolli, he said that there is no shortage of energy and that the problem is temporary. Earlier, Prime Minister Albin Kurti called on citizens from 6 pm to midnight to rationalize energy consumption. (A2 Televizion)
