The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, declared that the KLA epic is the greatest turning point in the country's history. While former Prime Minister Haradinaj stated that they must defend freedom by standing together with their allies. According to him, leaving alliances is wrong.
"The epic of the Jashari family and the Kosovo Liberation Army is the moment of the greatest turning point in the new history of our country. It is the moment when the extraordinary and unprecedented sacrifice in world history became the call for the people of Kosovo to rise up and fight for the freedom we enjoy today. Therefore, every 5, 6 and 7 March we come here to Prekaz, to the place where our freedom has its roots, to express eternal respect for the legendary commander-in-chief, Adem Jashari, for the Jashari family, for all the martyrs, martyrs and those who fell on the path of freedom and in particular for the KLA, as well as to receive our inspiration for all of us who are engaged in public life to not forget that our public engagement must always be for the good of the country and to make our Kosovo better", declared Krasniqi.
