The remains of 6 people were found in Kosovo

The mortal remains of 6 people have been found in recent days during searches in an area in the Lower Prekaz of Skenderaj in Kosovo.

According to preliminary data, it is believed that the remains belong to persons who disappeared during the war in Kosovo. On November 9, skeletons of three bodies were found, while on November 20, 21 and 24, the remains of three other people were also found.

"During the excavations-research, some mortal remains (fossil finds) were found, which are suspected to be of some people from the last war. On November 9, 2023, skeletons of three bodies were found. The research continued in the following days, so on November 20, 21 and 24, 2023, three more people were found. So, during the excavations in this location, a total of bodies (fossils) of 6 (six) people were found and then retrieved by the teams of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, which are suspected to be bodies that disappeared during the last war", it is stated in the announcement of the police.
