The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren, in close cooperation with the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK), carried out a coordinated action today, which resulted in the raid of four locations and the arrest of four suspects.
According to a joint statement from both institutions, among those arrested is a senior police officer with the rank of colonel, against whom there is reasonable suspicion of involvement in the criminal offenses of tax evasion and tax evasion, according to the provisions of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
"This action is the result of a several-month investigation, conducted with professionalism and dedication by PIK investigators, in full cooperation with the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren. Currently, PIK investigators, in coordination with the Prosecution Office, are continuing with other investigative actions in the field, with the aim of fully clarifying the case and collecting relevant evidence. As part of the administrative procedure, PIK has recommended the suspension of the police colonel, until the completion of the investigations," the announcement states. (A2 Televizion)
