Kurti reveals how he agreed on the Association plan and what worries him about Vucic

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has given details about his meeting with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, where he agreed to sign the Brussels agreement, the Ohrid annex and the draft for the Association as a package, however , showed the conditions imposed by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, which concern him.

Kurti, in a conversation with the director of the Karl-Renner-Institut, Maria Maltschnig, said that the paradox is that Kosovo and Serbia have agreements in Ohrid and Brussels, but the problem is that the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said "yes" to not signed.

"Now I regret that he said yes, he said yes in concept and not in content. And then we have the implementation annex which has 12 points, but recently we also had a draft statute for the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, which was brought by the five special envoys, for which I gave my criticisms. In the meeting with the German chancellor and the president of France, they emphasized the urgency of choosing this issue and said despite the criticism I have of the association draft that it is better than that of 2013 or 2015, although it is not as good as I would like I wrote it myself or as much as I would like, I said tonight we are signing the Brussels agreement, the Ohrid annex and this draft in one package and I asked the German chancellor and the president of France, the status of candidacy and the peace partnership, but president Vučić, after having a meeting with the same people, he said that I cannot sign the same letter with Prime Minister Kurti. We should have two separate documents, I sign with the EU. Serbia signed with the EU, I have no conflict with the EU, are we going to normalize relations with Serbia, of course I have to sign it, this has also been done with my predecessors, Thaçi and Mustafa, and I and Prime Minister Bërnabič have signed, so it is not that there is no precedent to sign and implement it, but then, despite the traditional refusal to sign, he also asked for a side letter to be sent to the mediators, where it was said that Serbia will never recognize Kosovo, will not to have a seat in the UN for Kosovo, as if it depended on him, and the third one has no respect for territorial integrity, and this worries me, this is a new thing, this is a direct violation of the basic agreement. What I want to see is that my friends who have mediated this dialogue and are referred when there is a violation of the agreement, where there is a violation of each vessel, they should whistle, when there is a violation, when there is a foul, the whistle should be blown. There are so many violations that are not being taken into account and this is where we are stuck", he said, hoping that some proper way will be found for signing the agreements.

He said that the extradition of Radojčič's group and the arrest of the members of the two Serbian organizations that Kosovo has declared as terrorists are now needed.

Kurti mentioned the setting up of barricades, the injury of 90 KFOR soldiers, the kidnapping of three policemen and the killing of the sergeant, Afrim Bunjak, said that Kosovo does not need the fifth episode, but what is needed is the support of the EU and the USA. what is needed clearly, endlessly because the fingerprints of official Belgrade are all over everything that happened on September 25.
