Kosovo continues to be gripped by political crisis. For the 31st time, the deputies who emerged from the general elections on February 9 have not been able to create the necessary quorum to constitute the Assembly, writes A2 CNN. As in previous sessions, which began on April 15 - the deputies met briefly on Friday and did not find a solution to unblock the impasse.
The failure came a day after the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, unveiled a 15-point agenda for a unity government, inviting all parliamentary parties to form it as a way out of the political crisis. In a reaction to the media, Vetëvendosje Movement MP Artan Abrashi criticized the opposition after the failure of the next plenary session, calling it a continuation of the political blockade,
For her part, PDK Secretary General Vlora Çitaku has described the situation as beyond absurd, blaming LVV for the created impasse. While LDK MP Ekrem Hyseni said that his party is the only one that has a proposal for a way out of the crisis, mentioning the 15-point plan.
The next session for the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly is scheduled to be held on June 15 at 11:00. (A2 Televizion)
