The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has set the date of October 12, 2025, for holding regular local elections in the Republic of Kosovo.
This decision was made after careful consideration of the proposals of political entities, as well as after a thorough analysis, in accordance with constitutional and legal deadlines.
The setting of this date aims to enable full preparation of the electoral process by the responsible institutions, including the Central Election Commission and other relevant institutions, with the aim of respecting the highest standards of electoral administration.
This date provides the necessary space for technical and logistical organization for all forms and procedures of voting as legally stipulated.
President Osmani has called on all political entities, civil society organizations and citizens to approach this process with full responsibility in order to guarantee a comprehensive, orderly and fair process. (A2 Televizion)
