Messages from The Hague for the government? The Vetëvendosje-PDK coalition,

The public seems to be divided, and each group has its own arguments. This mood is also reflected in the beliefs of political pundits and analysts.

Political parties have used all available legal mechanisms to address objections or complaints of various kinds regarding the elections. And now, pending the certification of the results, there is a discussion about what is the most likely scenario for the formation of coalitions that could form the new government.

But when we have entered the phase where the scenarios for the formation of the governing coalition must be specified, Lavdrim Hamiti, a political analyst, tells A2CNN that "the process is currently developing with normal dynamics, which could result in the formation of a government, as we are within the legal deadlines, but the parties are 'buying time'."

The current Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and chairman of the LVV, has pledged several times that he will form the new executive, but without specifying exactly how!

Voices within his party mention the possibility of a coalition with non-Serb minorities, and count on the support of some MP from the major Albanian parties, although this scenario is not considered to produce stability.

According to Hamiti, Kurti may have counted on the votes of Fatmir Limaj's party, Nisma, which has left the way open for him to govern with VV.

As for the scenario that is still being discussed behind the scenes in the country, of a VV-PDK coalition, this was also prompted by Thaçi's visit to Pristina yesterday, Hamiti says that it could happen after the PDK leaders are in The Hague, the PDK leaders make constant visits, there could be a message from there.

Kosovo does not have the luxury of wasting much time on forming a government, given the fact that it has many obligations ahead of it, including dialogue with Serbia, membership in international organizations, and recognition. (A2 Televizion)
