The Government of Kosovo presented the piloting of the Vouchers Program, within the Project "Early childhood education and care for the human capital of Kosovo".
Through this program, the aim is to increase involvement in education for three categories of children; those from families with social assistance, with special needs as well as from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has evaluated this program as very important, which will cover the payment for daycare and transportation, which is financed by the partnership with the World Bank.
The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbëri Nagavci said that through this program the first concrete step is being taken so that children of families with social assistance have access to early education.
According to the Ministry of Education, the project will first be implemented in the capital Prishtina, Lipjan, Prizren and Gjilan. (A2 Televizion)
