Gërvalla attacks Rama: There was nothing fraternal about that

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, has called the speech of the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, at the joint Kosovo-Albania session a "campaign against the Kurti Government".

According to Gërvalla, Rama misused the pulpit of the Assembly of Kosovo.

"Mr. Rama's speech did not match the atmosphere we had at all. It was a speech that greatly abused the hospitality of Kosovo, him and his delegation. I think that if he comes to campaign, he should come and do so in a transparent manner against the Government, without abusing the floor of the Assembly".

Asked about Rama's request for the implementation of the Ohrid agreement, Gërvalla claimed that this was not fraternal advice.

"There was nothing fraternal in that middle, because within the family one consults with its members and does not appear in front of microphones to give fraternal advice. Of course, it was a form of increasing pressure on the Republic of Kosovo to implement unilaterally".
