Behind the scenes of the session, Rama's letter and Kurt's

The second joint session between the Parliaments of Albania and Kosovo in Pristina did not pass without spicy and unexpected moments.

The deputies of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party arrived among the first at the Assembly of Kosovo, but not at the right entrance, for which they were instructed by the staff of the Parliament that they should go through the other side.

Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali was received by her counterpart, Glauk Konjufca. After a warm hug, Konjufca, after Spiropali's interest, told about the joy of the birth of the girl just a few days ago.

Prime Minister Edi Rama came first to the Assembly and was received by the two speakers. But they forgot to wait for Kurt, who arrived only a few moments later.

The two Prime Ministers and the two heads of the Assemblies met in Konjufca's office. A few moments later, President Vjosa Osmani also came and gave a speech at the session, despite the fact that it was not included in the agenda.

While the leaders were meeting, ministers and MPs in the plenary hall used the time to talk among themselves.

After arriving in the hall, Rama had a special greeting for the chairman of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, a proof that the disagreements between them until the lawsuit, already belong to the past.

The speech of the prime ministers was accompanied by applause, mainly from their parties. After the end of Rama's address, the deputies of the opposition parties PDK and AAK stood up but were not followed by those of the majority in Kosovo.

The only Albanian deputy in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, was also present at this session. Although his presence was not noticed by the leaders of the session.

President Vjosa Osmani was the first to leave the session when Ramush Haradinaj came to the podium.

Haradinaj's speech was not liked by the ministers of the Government of Kosovo and the majority deputies who left the hall, while Kurti was no longer agreeing with what the president of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo was saying.

During Haradinaj's speech, Prime Minister Rama decided to write a letter to Kurt. Since Kurti seemed to be nervous with Haradinaj, he did not open the letter and Rama had to remind him again.

After a nod of approval, Rama leaves the session, returning only after Gazment Bardhi's speech.

The MPs of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo became protagonists again when Mimoza Kusari - Lila came to the podium. They shouted "zdravo", a word associated with the published conversations between the head of the parliamentary group of Vetëvendosje and the representatives of the Serbian List.

Unlike Kurti, Rama seemed more interested in voting for the joint statement between the two Assemblies that was formally approved by the participating deputies.

Immediately after the session, Kurti and Rama addressed the Government, in a meeting that lasted no more than five minutes. The two prime ministers there signed a cooperation agreement for the Mediterranean Games "Prishtina 2030", which makes Durrës one of the host cities.

With a blink of an eye and without responding to the interest of the journalists, Rama and Kurti left the government building and went to the restaurant where they had lunch together with the parliamentarians and deputies. (A2 Televizion)
