The Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, declared after the meeting with representatives of political parties that Vetëvendosje does not yet have a candidate for the position of Speaker of Parliament, as, according to him, everything will be part of the talks for a possible coalition.
Konjufca confirmed that there was an invitation to a meeting only for the Democratic League of Kosovo. Regarding the harsh language towards this party, Konjufca said that there have been insults towards him as well, but there is no hatred and he is ready to extend a hand of cooperation.
He said that he intended to govern alone, but the result dictates a plan B and there must be a coalition: "Politics is to understand interests, but the interests we represent are not ours, but those of the Republic of Kosovo. Here there is only cooperation. It is the effort to move Kosovo forward together, because separately we have no chance. Democracy and politics require exactly this." (A2 Televizion)
