Kurti, the only one with a national flag at the table, tense session for the

The session for the constitution of the new Kosovo Assembly began an hour late. The first to enter the hall were the deputies of the opposition parties, who sat on the side wings, while in the middle was the place designated for the first political force, the Vetëvendosje Movement, writes A2 CNN. Albin Kurti submitted his resignation as prime minister, in order to be sworn in as a deputy. In the entire hall, he was the only one who had also taken with him an Albanian national flag.

The session produced quite spicy moments, giving numerous signals regarding post-election coalitions or the formation of the new government. The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, and the leader of the Social Democratic Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, did not greet or talk to each other in the hall of the Kosovo Assembly. Haradinaj arrived before Limaj in the Assembly and was on the phone, while the latter, after signing as a deputy of the Kosovo Assembly, passed by Haradinaj, but they did not greet each other.

The latter had entered into a pre-election coalition and received 8 MPs in the February 9 elections. But there are reports of a possible agreement between the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, and the leader of Nisma, Fatmir Limaj, for the vote on the new government. There have also been reports of a pact between Kurti and Duda Balja, who represents the Bosniak minority, but the MP was seen as very close to the leader of the PDK, Memli Krasniqi.

The opposition has announced that it will not participate in the vote for the new speaker. Meanwhile, there were also some interesting moments during the break for the verification of mandates and the procedure of the session. Kurti is seen consulting with several members of his party and with MPs from non-Serb minorities. At the same time, the leaders of PDK and LDK also consulted with their party members, but turned their backs on the leader of Vetëvendosje. There was no greeting between them. (A2 Televizion)
