Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti met tonight with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense David Baker, accompanied by the Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Pristina, Anu Prattipati, at a working dinner hosted by Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci.
Bilateral relations between Kosovo and the United States of America and cooperation in the field of defense were among the key topics of discussion, KosovaPress reports.
Kurti informed Baker about developments and progress in the country, investments in defense, and the need to increase trade exchanges and increase investments.
He thanked Baker and the United States of America for the vital support they have provided to Kosovo and the Kosovo Security Force, as well as for its continued role in security and peace.
Kurti also expressed the readiness of the Government of Kosovo to further strengthen relations with the US in the field of defense, including the defense industry.
The acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, and the Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Petrit Ajeti, also participated in this dinner.
We recall that during his visit to Kosovo, senior American official David Baker also met with President Vjosa Osmani, Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci, the head of KFOR, and visited the American Embassy in Pristina. (A2 Televizion)
