Vetevendosje Movement requested a repeat of the postal vote, ECAP rejects the

The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel has rejected the complaint of the Vetevendosje Movement for a repeat of the postal vote. Vetevendosje had requested that around 19 thousand postal votes for the Democratic League of Kosovo be removed from the final result, that the entire postal vote process be repeated and that some of the candidates, who LVV claimed were involved in vote manipulation from the ranks of the LDK, not be included in the new list of candidates in a possible repeated postal vote process. But the ECAP has assessed it as unfounded in the legal provisions of the Law on Elections and Vetevendosje's complaint as well as generalized, A2 CNN learns.

Likewise, ECAP has rejected another request from the Vetëvendosje Movement for a recount in the municipality of Skenderaj, as according to them, the PDK's candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, received between 94% and 100% of the votes in certain polling stations, writes A2 CNN.

LVV's reasoning stated that based on trends, it is impossible for a candidate for prime minister to receive 100% of the votes. However, the Panel said that the complaint is unsubstantiated, unfounded, and that LVV had no evidence to prove their claims. (A2 Televizion)
