Earlier, the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, reacted to the issue of non-certification of the Serbian List. She estimated that the largest Serbian political party in the north is engaged in terrorist acts, acts of aggression and violation of the constitutional order. The president's cabinet, quoted by Radio Evropa e Lirë, says that Osmani believes that the CEC should decide independently.
"Every decision issued by the CEC must be respected, as part of the commitment to the rule of law and the preservation of institutional integrity", Osmani was quoted as saying.
The Serbian List has complained to the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Attachments regarding the decision, which it considers absurd, anti-Serbian and undemocratic. The chairman of this party said that this step was taken at the request of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
Petar Petkovic, head of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, said that President Osmani's "shameful" statement only confirms that the CEC's decision was political and was taken under Kurt's orders. (A2 Televizion)
