"Until I am the President, Serbia will not recognize the state of Kosovo". This is the promise made by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
Present with the youth of the forum of the Serbian Progressive Party, Vucic sought to justify his policies in the face of the mass protests that have recently affected Belgrade. For Belgrade, the culprit must be found in the external factor.
"They are doing it for three reasons. The first is because they should try to finish things around Kosovo as soon as possible. I am emphasizing that, until I am President, we will not recognize Kosovo's independence at any price. They need this in order to tell Putin not to refer to the precedent of Kosovo when you talk about Zaporizhia and Kherson because we made a bilateral agreement between Belgrade and Pristina", said Vucic.
The President of Serbia has estimated that the most brutal intervention in Serbia's internal affairs is being done by the region, because it worries them that Serbia is growing economically faster than everyone else and that it is no longer the same as it was between 2000 and 2012.
"The future, not the past, is not something that only applies to young people, it applies to all people in our country. Even today, when many would like to return us to the past and for this they have a great support from outside and for this you will get many proofs. It's time to show determination, show courage, show skills and show patriotism, to show how much we love our country, how much we love our homeland", emphasized Vucic.
Vučić's positions at the head of the Serbian state have been shaken recently because hundreds of people are protesting for his removal from the post. University students gathered in Belgrade on Wednesday to protest the policies of President Aleksandar Vucic and his ruling party, whom they blame for last month's rail disaster that killed 15 people.
