Albin Kurti is convinced that he will be the one to form the government and lead the country for a third term. In a brief reaction to the media after one of his activities, Albin Kurti said that he will lead again with the new executive that emerged from the parliamentary elections on February 9, writes A2 CNN.
“First the final results, then the certification, then the talks. The government, for sure, led by the Vetevendosje Movement and me,” Kurti told reporters briefly. Kurti did not answer reporters’ questions about which opposition parties his party, the Vetevendosje Movement, is closest to.
The Vetëvendosje Movement won the February 9 elections with 42.27 percent of the vote, or 48 seats in the 120-seat parliament. This means that the party cannot form the new executive alone, which requires 61 deputies. (A2 Televizion)
