Ambassadors accredited to Kosovo returned to the Assembly with the hope that they would witness the constitution of the Parliament.

But hope quickly turned to disappointment, with the session immediately adjourned and the same noise continuing.

The ambassadors expressed disappointment with the situation, urging the parties to find a solution.

"We came here with great hope and unfortunately nothing happened again. Kosovo needs an Assembly immediately, it needs a new government that would build a new strong bridge between Kosovo and Brussels to accelerate its journey towards the EU ," declared EU Ambassador Aivo Orav.

"The political class is disappointing its people and it is very worrying. Yesterday's court decision was, if we speak in football terms, like a red card because it is suspending Parliament from making decisions," said German Ambassador Jorn Rohde.

Through a post on social media, British Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves also asked the parties to find a way out by Saturday before the Constitutional measure comes into effect.

"I urge Kosovo's politicians to come together and find a solution to end the deadlock before the Constitutional Court's term ends tomorrow. Otherwise, Kosovo is entering uncharted territory and its citizens continue to lose meaningful political representation and the ability to make crucial and international decisions that affect the lives of citizens," said British Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves.

The international community has consistently called for the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly.

Among other things, the absence of the Assembly is also holding back the approval of an agreement and the disbursement of European Union funds intended for Kosovo from the Growth Plan. (A2 Televizion)
