Political parties in Kosovo are continuing their campaign for the February 9 parliamentary elections, amid debates over inherited problems and deep divisions over many issues related to foreign policy.

Analysts say that the country's next government will face numerous challenges in foreign policy, which is expected to be unpredictable in the new circumstances created by the change of power in Washington and Brussels, writes A2.

For Professor Dashamir Bërxhullin, any government that emerges from elections should prioritize recovering relations with partners.

Analyst Dorajet Imeri said that political parties should have as clear and specific platforms as possible, to build trust with partners and in particular with the US.

Analysts evaluate President Osmani's visit to the US as positive, which shows that her relations with Washington have always been close and trustworthy.

The Vetëvendosje Movement's candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti, who currently holds this position, said during the unveiling of his pledges that he will further strengthen the country's strategic relations with international partners.

But, during a rally in Mitrovica, Kurti said that he will not establish the Association of Serbian Municipalities, a persistent demand of Western diplomats. (A2 Televizion)
