The Democratic Party of Kosovo offers its solution to the deep political crisis in the country. After a leadership meeting, this political force, through a statement, issues accusations against the Vetëvendosje Movement, while expressing openness to proposals or initiatives aimed at resolving the blockade in the parliament, thus indirectly referring to the idea put forward by the Democratic League of Kosovo.
"In this spirit, we consider that the President of the Republic, as a supra-party institution with a legitimate mandate, can take the necessary steps to call a meeting with all parliamentary political entities. A comprehensive roundtable could be the right step to find a way out of the institutional crisis. PDK is committed and is convinced that the best solution for the country is the formation of a new government, composed of parties that were in opposition in the previous mandate," said the Democratic Party of Kosovo, writes A2 CNN.
In the statement, PDK emphasizes that this government would bring Kosovo out of international isolation and, through the list of state priorities, would return the country to the right path of development and Euro-Atlantic integration. This political force calls on Vetëvendosje, as it is said, not to further abuse its constitutional right to propose a candidate for Speaker of the Assembly, but to accept the political reality of the lack of numbers.
