Vetëvendosje receives 80.75% of votes from consulates, counting of postal

At the Counting and Results Center in Pristina, the counting of votes from the Kosovo diaspora has already begun, for those who voted by mail.

The news was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi. He announced that the counting of the last polling stations by diplomatic missions is also continuing at this center.

"I can confirm that the Counting and Results Center is continuing the counting of the last polling stations from voting at diplomatic missions and we have now also begun the counting of ballots from voting by mail," Elezi declared.

So far, 40 polling stations out of a total of 43 have been counted. The Vetëvendosje Movement has secured 10,893 votes or 80.75 percent from the count so far.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo, according to this update, received 1,010 votes, or 7.48 percent, while the Democratic League of Kosovo received 1,066 votes, or 7.45 percent.

The Coalition for a Winning Kosovo, a coalition between AAK, NISMA, Conservatives and Intellectuals, received 260 votes or 1.93 percent. (A2 Televizion)
