The spokesperson of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Blerand Stavileci, expressed confidence that the will of the citizens is reflected better than what the preliminary results of the exit polls reflect. After the closing of the voting centers, Stavileci from the PDK headquarters said that the result is encouraging. According to him, the further steps on what the final epilogue of these will produce will be shared with the media.
"We are in an unusual situation when we as a political party must tell you and the citizens about our vote and not the CEC as it should be. However, now we are before you to share a clear and complete message: PDK has achieved a great result. PDK has been confirmed as the second largest political force in the country with over 200 thousand votes. This is PDK's best result in many years and a clear proof of citizens' trust in our vision for Kosovo. This is an undeniable message for us and a strong message for the future of our country. What we have seen in this process is clear, the majority of citizens have turned their backs on this government. The result shows that they are looking for a new government, a different government. Our citizens showed with their vote that they believe that Kosovo can do better." (A2 Televizion)
