The first ten days of July will be very hot and unbearable. The warning was given by A2 CNN meteorologist Tanja Porja on Dita Jonë, according to which most of Albania will reach extremely high temperatures, while the coast will be cooler.
"We expect a cooling from July 10th, when the thermometer will drop from 41 degrees to 36-37 degrees. During July, we will have several days with 41 degrees Celsius. 4-8 days are exhausting and deadly. Berat, Elbasan, Gjirokastra, Kopliku and Shkodra are cities where temperatures will reach extremely high values of 40-41 degrees, but it is not excluded that Tirana could exceed 40 degrees. Likewise, Fushë Kruja, Kolonja and Përmeti.
The coast appears cooler than the mountainous areas of Kukes, Burreli, Librazhd, Pogradec and Korca. There will be days when Vlora will be cooler than Korca. The rest of Albania will be scorching. The temperature on the coast will be 3-4 degrees lower. But when the humidity is high, 36 degrees feels 6 degrees higher than it is recorded and what we feel should be communicated as the real temperature.
A2 CNN meteorology emphasized that a slight improvement in the weather is expected from July 10th.
"There are no signs of precipitation. But precipitation is expected on July 12, mainly in the eastern areas. Entry of a cold air mass into the Alps area where these days the European Alps are recording temperatures of 35-36 degrees, around July 10 we expect snowfall in the European Alps area and this will have the effect of bringing refreshment."
Extreme weather with high temperatures, according to Porja, will also be in the Balkan region. (A2 Televizion)
