The 111th anniversary of Independence was also celebrated in the city of Fier. The festive ceremony took place at the Independence monument where the red and black flag was also raised.
The highest local authorities have placed wreaths and bouquets of flowers in commemoration of this marked day for the Albanian nation, while this time also the representatives of the opposition were not present.
Unlike previous years, the atmosphere this time was lukewarm as the activities on this day were conditioned by unfavorable weather conditions, while for days all the streets of the city have been decorated with red and black decorations. (A2 Televizion)
