It seems that the arrival of migrants that was so much talked about after the agreement, also the much talked about one between Italy and Albania, is turning into a monthly pass journey for migrants coming from the port of Lampedusa to the famous Gjadri camp.
Judges of the Court of Appeal in Rome have suspended the detention of 43 migrants from Bangladesh and Egypt sent to the Gjadri center in Albania, referring the case to the next ruling of the European Court of Justice on safe countries, writes A2 CNN.
According to Italian media, all asylum applications, except for one, of the migrants who remained in Gjadra were rejected yesterday. After videoconference hearings with the Asylum Commission to review the progress of applications for international protection, the answer came: all asylum applications were deemed "manifestly unfounded".
The Rome Court of Appeal has suspended the decision on the validity of the detention of 43 migrants brought to Albania last Friday. The court also refers the "case" to the Court of Justice of the European Union. (A2 Televizion)
