The Sasaj hydroelectric dam breach in Bunec fortunately passed without causing serious damage to homes and businesses in the area. But most importantly, fortunately, no one was injured, even though part of the waters blocked the Vlora-Saranda national road.
Working groups of the Himara Municipality, which covers the territory where the dam was located, have begun work to assess the damage to homes and businesses, while the Civil Emergencies Directorate in the Vlora prefecture is giving its first suspicions about what happened.
In addition to the High Dams Institute, which is investigating the case, investigations have also been launched by the Vlora Prosecutor's Office to fully uncover the causes of this Sasaj dam breach. (A2 Televizion)
