The Shkodra Regional Hospital has announced this year that it will stop conducting patient visits, check-ups and diagnostics, as it will only serve people who need hospitalization.
The decision was announced by the director of the Shkodra Regional Hospital himself, according to which citizens should go to the Specialty Polyclinic for diagnosis of their problems, writes A2 CNN.
In this way, the aim is to reduce the unnecessary burden on hospital doctors, as well as to increase the quality for people who need specialized treatment for their illnesses. Shkodra Regional Hospital is the largest in northern Albania and also handles emergencies in the entire northern area. (A2 Televizion)
