The weekend is accompanied by sunny weather and, of course, when there are extended days off, it is always accompanied by an increase in the flow on the National Road, mainly with Kosovo citizens choosing the Albanian coast.
But given that a similar influx is expected to be almost daily as the weather warms up and the summer season approaches, highway police patrols have begun monitoring traffic with relevant equipment to ensure a safe journey, writes A2 CNN.
During the monitoring, a considerable number of violations were found, mainly related to exceeding the speed limit. In some cases, the traffic police advised drivers to comply with the rules in accordance with road signs.
The National Road remains one of the most important and busiest axes, especially during the tourist season, where, in addition to Kosovo Albanians, it is also used by a significant number of tourists coming from Europe with their own vehicles. (A2 Televizion)
