The Constitutional Court of Albania is elected a member of the Bureau of the Association of Francophone Constitutional Courts

The Bureau is one of the governing bodies of the ACCF, which consists of 10 full members and is periodically renewed for a period of three years.

A delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania, headed by Judge Sandër Beci, participated in the 10th Congress of the Association of Francophone Constitutional Courts (ACCF) on the topic: "Interpretation and Review of the Constitution: What is the Role of the Constitutional Judge?", which took place in Bucharest, Romania, on May 6-8, 2025.

The Association of Francophone Constitutional Courts has around 50 member constitutional courts and equivalent institutions from Africa, America, Asia and Europe. The ACCF Congress brought together Presidents and judges from 35 Francophone constitutional courts from around the world, as well as representatives of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), the Venice Commission, the Conference of African Constitutional Jurisdictions and the Ibero-American Conference of Constitutional Justice (CIJC), who shared their respective experiences regarding the criteria for interpreting constitutional jurisprudence, the methods and instruments of the evolutionary interpretation of the constitution, as well as the competences of the constitutional judge regarding the revision of the constitution. 

Another very important moment was the approval by the General Assembly of the request, which has been in place for several years now, of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo to be a full member of the ACCF, which constitutes an achievement that also reflects Albania's increased engagement in international forums of constitutional justice and its active contribution to the consolidation of democratic values ​​in the Francophone space.
