The panel of the Special Appeals Chamber has changed the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and confirmed the Shkodra judge, Ermira Dedja, in office.
Dedja was dismissed by decision of the KPK, where she was pointed out a series of problems in the criteria of wealth and professionalism, writes A2 CNN.
We recall that Ermira Dedja began her career in the justice system in 1993 and has been working for almost three decades as a judge at the Shkodra District Court.

The panel of the Special Appeals Chamber, composed of Sokol Çomo as chairman, Rezarta Schuetz as rapporteur, Albana Shtylla, Ina Rama, Natasha Mulaj as members, announced the decision on case no. 14/2022, dated 09.03.2022, which concerns the appeal of the reassessment subject Ermira Dedja against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 496, dated 12.01.2022.
At the end of the trial in the deliberation room, the panel, based on Article 66, point 1, letter “b” of Law No. 84/2016, “On the temporary re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, unanimously decided:
· Amendment of decision no. 496, dated 12.01.2022 of the Independent Qualification Commission and confirmation in office of the re-evaluation subject Ermira Dedja.
· This decision is final and has immediate effect.
