Eid al-Adha in Korça, the blind elderly woman shows that she was forgiven

Hundreds of Muslim believers from the city of Korça and the surrounding villages, this morning at the "Iljaz Bey Mirahori" mosque, prayed the Eid al-Adha prayer. Rani Lekaj has lost her sight since childhood. The elderly woman says that even during the dictatorship she prayed in secret, while now she is a devout believer.

"I have been blind since childhood. I raised 5 children, I gave one son to my father because we had no brothers, he was a tax collector. The good Lord told me that if you turn away from your word, I will do worse than you. I did not know that I had a son. I have been praying here for 22 years, plus in Podogorije. I got married in Bletas, now I am in Korça. I have prayed since I was little and to this day because my father was a believer. I will believe until my veins burst. I had a dream about the mosque that I should come to pray in the mosque in the morning, but I have no one to come with", the elderly blind Rani Lekaj told the media, reports A2 CNN.

Muslim believers have also congratulated each other on the holiday of Eid al-Adha, on this holy day of their faith.

A congratulatory message came from Mufti Ledian Cikalleshi. The Eid al-Adha prayer was performed in all mosques in the southeast of the country. (A2 Televizion)
