The “Joint Declaration on Cooperation in the Field of Defense” between Albania, Croatia and the Republic of Kosovo was signed in Tirana. The document was signed by the Minister of Defense of Albania, Mr. Pirro Vengu, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Croatia, Mr. Ivan Anušić, and the Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Mr. Ejup Maqedonci.
The cooperation aims to strengthen the defense capabilities of the three countries, develop defense industry and technology, and improve military interoperability in the region.
This strategic development reflects the close alliance between the three states, bound by history, sacrifices for freedom, and a shared vision for a secure future.
"We have a common assessment of threats in a fragile security environment. In this context, our commitment to developing our defense capabilities is stronger than ever," emphasized Minister Vengu.
Also, Albania and Croatia will work closely to unify political positions in support of the aspirations of the citizens of Kosovo for full integration into regional and Euro-Atlantic structures.
Ministers Anušić and Macedonia assessed this agreement as an important step for strengthening security and stability in the region, as well as for developing capacities in facing common risks and challenges. (A2 Televizion)
