Bad weather conditions in the Bay of Durrës and the Italian coast led to the suspension of ferry sailings on Sunday.
Due to strong winds, cruise companies announced that as a result of unstable weather conditions, sailings on the Durrës-Bari line and vice versa scheduled to depart on 23.03.2025 will be suspended.
Ferry services on both coasts will resume normally on Monday evening, at 22:00, as weather forecasts indicate improved weather conditions. The only one that sailed without problems throughout Sunday was the Ancona-Durrës-Ancona ferry.
On Sunday evening, there were no sailings from either Durres or Bari, meanwhile, the ship processing process resumed this morning, respectively at the Western, Eastern and Container Terminals, according to the Port Dispatcher's planning.
On the other hand, the activity of the fishing fleet continues to remain suspended, as weather conditions in the open sea are not yet optimal to allow the navigation of fishing vessels. (A2 Televizion)
